Laga assists Philips and PMV with their Series B investment in LindaCare

Taking on your challenges

19 January 2018

Laga assisted Philips and PMV with their series B investment in LindaCare NV. In addition to Philips and PMV, the EUR 7 million investment round was underwritten by Capricorn and Connecticut Innovations.

LindaCare, a digital health company specialising in remote patient monitoring solutions for chronic disease management, will use the investment proceeds to accelerate its US market expansion and product commercialisation. It will also support the building of new services around the existing software platform and explore options for expanding its product to a broader range of cardiac diseases. In turn, this will assist healthcare professionals and hospitals in reducing the cost of care delivery, improve quality of life for patients, and guarantee their safety while delivering health care at their homes.

More information on LindaCare and the transaction can be found here.

The Laga team from the Corporate - M&A practice consisted of lead Partner Marc Van tieghem, and Hans Vansweevelt and Wouter D’herde, Associates.

Laga worked in close collaboration with the Dutch law firm Biesheuvel Jansen Advocaten, who fielded a team led by Rutger Jansen (Corporate M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital Partner).
