Geert Joosten

Geert Joosten is a member of the employment and social security team. He has extensive experience in optimisation of salaries; drawing up and terminating employment contracts; drawing up collective agreements; work regulations;  mass redundancies and restructuring measures; regulations relating to works councils and committees for prevention and protection in the workplace as well as the social security system for the self-employed and assistance with social inspections. Geert Joosten is also a frequent speaker on seminars relating to employment law and the author of several articles on these topics.

Geert obtained a law degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) and University of Edinburgh, 1993, a certificate of competence as counsellor in social law, Flemish Institute for the self-employed (VIZO), 1996 and a degree in tax law from Hogeschool Groep T, Leuven, 1999.
