Carine Goos is counsel in the Corporate Law Department and has indepth knowledge of all aspects of corporate law and the way it is implemented in large corporates and financial institutions, whether they are listed or not. This in-depth corporate law covers in particular organisations and reporting structures (governance), corporate capital and issue of shares or other securities, directors liability, mergers and demergers, transfer of shares. In addition, Carine has extensive experience in the field of regulatory advisory work for financial institutions including insurance companies. She was Legal Manager at Deloitte from 1998 – 2004 and a Legal Consultant at Coopers & Lybrand (PricewaterhouseCoopers) from 1996 – 1998.
Carine holds a Law degree from the University of Antwerp, 1995 and a Post-graduate degree in Notary law from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL), 1996 as well as diplomas in Corporate law from the Katholieke Universiteit Brussels (KUB,) 1997, and Tax law from Ehsal Brussels, 1998.
