Johan Speecke

Johan Speecke has been a founding partner in the Laga tax law service line since 1997 prior to which he was a partner at Tournicourt & Vanistendael law office.

Professor at the Fiscale Hogeschool Brussels, he is also a permanent member of the editorial staff of the “Tijdschrift voor Fiscaal recht”. He holds a degree in Law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) and a degree in Economics from EHSAL.

As a senior partner of the Tax team, Johan is a specialist in tax litigation, advising companies and individuals, not only during the administrative process of the litigation (advice on tax challenges leading to final assessments, negotiations with both local and central tax administration, individual rulings, claims against assessments, notices, etc.) but also before the tax and criminal courts both at Belgian (Court of First Instance, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court) and European level.
