Jürgen Egger

Jürgen joined the Laga Advisory Practice in 2008. Previously, he was at the forefront of his practice at Allen & Overy for many years. Jürgen holds a law degree from the University of Antwerp and has studied at the University of Trier (Germany).

He has extensive experience in advising Belgian and foreign companies in commercial law matters. His focus is on general commercial law, contract law, distribution law (a.o. agency and franchising), commercial practices, insolvency proceedings, tort law, attachment proceedings and white collar crime. Jürgen advises and represents clients before both civil and criminal courts, and he is acquainted with arbitration proceedings.

He has published on distribution law and criminal law and has lectured on tort law. Jürgen has been appointed an expert-member of the Commission on Anti-Corruption at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris. He is recommended by Legal 500 as a specialist in fraud and white collar crime. Jürgen is a Dutch and German native speaker.
