Laga welcomes new employment law specialists

Laga’s Employment, pensions and benefits department has been strengthened by the arrival of Karin Rasschaert, Katrien Leijnen and Filip Van Overmeiren.

Karin Rasschaert graduated from Ghent University Law School in 1991. She started her career in the employment law practice of Loeff Claeys Verbeke (later Allen & Overy) and became a partner at Allen & Overy in 2003. Since January 2006 she joined Monard-D’Hulst as partner in employment law. Karin has deep experience in all legal aspects of Human Resources Management, including corporate restructurings, collective and individual labour disputes, cross-border employment and compensation & benefits.

Filip Van Overmeiren graduated in 2001 from Ghent University Law school, after which he obtained an additional Master in European Law. Since 2004, Filip is a researcher at the Ghent University in the field of European and international aspects of social security law and labour law, and acts as an independent advisor in this field. Very recently, he obtained his doctorate at the Ghent University.

Katrien Leijnen is specialised in Employment Law. She graduated in 2010 (Antwerp University) after which she joined Monard-D’Hulst to work with Karin Rasschaert.
