Hilde Laga interviewed by De Morgen about sexism in the professional environment
In an article which discusses the continued and persistent presence of sexism towards women in the professional world, firm Managing partner Hilde Laga shares her view with Belgian newspaper De Morgen.
In the interview, Hilde Laga says: "there must be other factors in play. For many years, I was a business lawyer in an international firm mostly dominated by men. Even the most subtle form of sexism was completely out of the question. Maybe that is why I am so surprised with the level (of sexism) in politics."
She continues to state: "In our world, business matters take precedence. It is particlarly important to ban sexism from this environment. Sexism will bring about any business' own failure".
