Laga quoted by Belgian press for Comparative Immigration Study
The Laga Employment law team recently released a comparative immigration survey that was widely quoted in the Belgian Press and interpreted by Ministers Annemie Turtelboom and Vincent Van Quickenborne.
The employment law team at Laga compiled information from the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Italy and Belgium to publish a comprehensive study of the legislation and procedures that surround work permit allocation for highly qualified workers.
The study indicates that Belgium is one of Europe's forerunners in employing foreign workers due to its simplified immigration process. A white-collar worker can receive their workpermit in the space of a few weeks in Belgium as opposed to 6 months in Italy.
Should you wish to receive a copy of the aformentioned study, please contact Matthias Lommers or Erwin Vandervelde at Laga.
