Laga assists in successful Royal Street billion Euro RMBS notes issue
Brussels 8 December 2011 – Laga assisted Royal Street NV/SA with the successful issue of EUR 2.1 bn RMBS notes (and the optional issue of EUR 3bn further notes) by its compartment RS-3 and the amendment and restatement of the 1.8bn RMBS notes issued by its compartment RS-2.
The Notes are backed by residential mortgage loans issued in Belgium by Axa Bank Europe and will be listed in Euronext Brussels. The Notes will be placed with ABE SCF and serve as collateral for a subsequent Covered Bond issue. The team advising Royal Street NV/SA consists of Werner Van Lembergen, Ingrid Quinet, Laurent Godts and Séverine Richard.
