Dr. Katalien Bollen: Team lead of MCC@Deloitte Legal

Katalien holds a PhD in mediation (KU Leuven). Topics investigated in her PhD refer to the role of hierarchy, emotions and online tools in mediation. Katalien is an organisational psychologist and certified mediator. She has extensive practical experience as mediator, facilitator and coach focusing on team dynamics. Katalien is currently involved in several (mediation) courses at the KU Leuven for both the Faculty of Psychology and the Faculty of Law. She is supervising several PhD’s on Family Business, Conflict Management, Mediation, Leadership and Coaching and has acquired in addition a vast experience as a trainer in Group, Team & Family Dynamics.

Prof. Dr. Alain-Laurent Verbeke: Supervising partner of MCC@Deloitte Legal

Alain-Laurent is Partner and lawyer at Deloitte Legal, negotiator, facilitator, mediator and arbitrator in all matters of private wealth and family & business issues. He is a Full Professor of Law at KU Leuven, holding chairs of family property law (trust & estates) and negotiation & mediation. At the Faculty of
Law, he is director of the Rector Dillemans institute of Family Property Law
and co-director of the Centre for Notarial Law and the Institute of Contract
Law. He is also co-director of the Leuven Centre for Collaborative Management
(LCM) at the psychology faculty. Visiting Professor of Law at Harvard Law
School since 2007, Professor of Law & Negotiation at UCP Lisbon Global
School of Law since 2008, he has also been Full Professor of Private Law &
Comparative Law since 1999 at Tilburg University.

Prof. Dr. Martin Euwema: Of counsel at Deloitte Legal, and organizational psychologist.

After an academic career at Utrecht University, Martin became full professor at KU Leuven in 2007. He is chair of the Department of Occupational and Organizational psychology and Professional Learning and co-director of the Leuven Centre of Collaborative Management (LCM). He is also Visiting Professor at the Universities of Copenhagen and Seville, and affiliated with Tsinghua University in Beijing. His focus is on group dynamics, conflict and leadership.
